Karthi is all set to release on December. The star cast of the film includes Anson Paul, Nikhila Vimal, Sowcar Janaki, Ammu Abhirami and Super Deluxe fame Ashwanth. Sharing a small video of his scenes with
master Ashwanth, actor Karthi has revealed that he enjoyed the scenes with the young boy and also called him a natural actor.
The trailer of the film was released recently and the over two minute trailer revealed that film is about Sathyaraj's son and
Jyotika's brother Saravanan (played by Karthi) who returns home after a long gap of 15 years. The trailer was filled with emotions, suspense and thrill. Though the parents are convinced that their son has returned, Jyotika, her grandmother and many others in the family are not too convinced about the identity of Saravanan. Is Saravanan really the young boy who left the family 15 years ago forms the crux of the story.
Govind Vasantha is composing music while RD Rajasekar is handling cinematography. The film is jointly bankrolled by Viacom 18 and Parallel Minds Productions. The film is said to hit the screen by this December.
