Karthi praises 'Irugapatru'; says, 'Great performances that mirrors today’s scenario'

The recently released Tamil film 'Irugapatru' has received a lot of positive reviews. Starring Vikram Prabhu, Shraddha Srinath, Vidharth, Saniya Iyappan, Sri and Abarnathi, the movie is about three couples who face inevitable challenges in their lives and try to solve the problems that salvage their relationship. Directed by Yuvaraj Dhayalan, the film was released in theatres on October 6. The music of the film has been composed by Justin Prabhakaran.


Actor Karthi took to Twitter after watching the film to praise the cast and crew of the movie. The actor stated that the film tried to portray the current scenario of a relationship that is shared between a husband and wife. His tweet read, " #Irugapatru - reminds us that it takes a lot of preparation to be a husband/wife. Understanding, love and more importantly mutual respect is what is required to keep relationships going. Kudos to the team behind a beautiful film with great performances that mirrors today’s scenario."

'Irugapatru' has been critically acclaimed, but the film has not been watched by many as it clashed at the box office with Trisha's 'The Road', '800' and Vijay Antony's 'Ratham'. Meanwhile, on the work front, Karthi will soon be seen in Raju Murugan's 'Japan' which is set to release this Diwali. He has also signed up for his next movie with Nalan Kumaraswamy.
