Karthi praises Jiiva's 'Black'

The Tamil science fiction thriller film 'Black' starring Jiiva and Priya Bhavani Shankar in lead roles was released in theatres on October 11 and the movie has been receiving a lot of positive reviews. Directed by KG Balasybramani the film is adapted from the 2013 Hollywood film 'Coherence'. While many have been praising the film, actor Karthi took to social media to appreciate Jiiva on his performance in the film.

Taking to X, Karthi wrote, "Congratulations bro Jiiva. 'Black' had enough moments to keep a full house audience screaming every now and then out of thrill and excitement. Kudos to the team for simplifying a high concept and making everyone stay with the characters."


'Black' revovles around a couple - Jiiva and Priya Bhavani Shankar who spend a night in their newly built villa to blow off steam. With them being the first to occupy the house in the entire community and in few hours they observe that the occupants in the opposite house are themselves but just in a timeline hours away.

'Black' also stars Vivek Prasanna in a pivotal role and the music for it is composed by Sam CS and the cinematography of the film is done by Gokul Benoy and editing by Philomin Raj.
