With the trend of re-release of films in Tamil catching up to good taste, theatres across the state have been joining in and re-releasing hit films. The latest film to join the long list of re-releases in Tamil Nadu is Karthi and Tamannaah-starrer 'Paiyaa' directed by Lingusamy.
The super hit film is all set to hit the screens once again as a re-release on April 11, 2024. The film was a super hit during its release and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music and songs in the film were a huge hit. The film, which released on 2 April, 2010 completes 14 years today. Written, produced and directed by N Linguswamy, the film also stars Milind Soman, Jagan and Sonia Deepti appearing in supporting roles.
Interestingly, director N Lingasamy will re-release his 2014 film 'Anjaan' starring Suriya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu also in theaters soon. However, the release date is yet to be announced by the makers.
