Karthi to wrap up shooting for 'Vaa Vaathiyaare' by June

Actor Karthi was last seen in his 25th film 'Japan'. The actor is currently shooting for his 27th film titled 'Vaa Vaathiyaare', a quirky entertainer directed by Nalan Kumarasamy. The movie stars Karthi, Krithi Shetty, Sathyaraj and Anandraj in lead roles. The film revolves around a young man who is an ardent MGR fan. The new buzz is that the shooting for the film will be wrapped up by June and the actor will soon start the work for his next, 'Sardar 2' with PS Mithran in July.

'Sardar 2' is the sequel to the 2022 spy thriller and the second part of the film script has been confirmed and it will soon begin the pre-production work. Meanwhile, Karthi is also awaiting the release of his 26th film 'Mei Azhagan' directed by Premkumar. The movie is a family entertainer starring Karthi, Arvind Swamy, Sri Divya and Swathi Konde in lead roles and the music for it is composed by Govind Vasantha.

The actor also has 'Kaithi 2' in pipeline with Lokesh Kanagaraj and he is also said to work with directors Mari Selvaraj and Tamizh for his upcoming films.
