hit screens. The film’s director
Karthik Subbaraj thanked the actor for the magical moments in the film and audience for their love for the film. The film is an action drama that includes an ensemble cast comprising Rajinikanth,
Vijay Sethupathi,
Simran,
Trisha, Sasikumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simhaa, Aadukalam Naren, Guru Somasundaram, J Mahendran, Chinni Jayanth, Megha Akash and Malavika Mohanan to name a few. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Tirru and editing by Vivek Harshan. Rajinikanth played Kaali, a hostel warden in the film, whose real name is later revealed as Petta Velan.
