Karthik Subbaraj is an ardent fan of Rajinikanth, and he directed the actor in the 2019 Tamil release 'Petta'. Since then Karthik Subbaraj has been posting unseen pictures from 'Petta' every year on the occasion of Rajinikanth's birthday, and he continued the trend this year as well. On Rajinikanth’s birthday, the director dropped an unseen photo from Petta, and also shared that it was the last unseen photo!

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajinikanth's film with TJ Gnanavel, 'Thalaivar 170' has been titled 'Vettaiyan' and the makers unveiled the film's title teaser on the superstar’s birthday.
