Tamil cinema and fans have always welcomed stars from all centers if they deliver a deserving performance. At times actors, who play leading roles in their respective film industries, change gears and try hands in Tamil film industry, on something they don't get to explore easily. That means there are actors who play protagonists, portray grey shaded characters in Tamil films and get highly applauded for the same. Kartikeya

Kartikeya, the 'RX 100' hero has an interesting lineup in Telugu, and he is making his Tamil debut with 'Valimai'. Kartikeya plays the main antagonist in the film, and he will be battling with Ajith in the action drama. Kartikeya is expected to strike big because Tamil cinema needs a monstrous villain like him.

Chiranjeevi

Chiranjeevi is fondly called Megastar by fans in Telugu cinema, and he has delivered successful films for the fans to enjoy. Chiranjeevi played a negative role opposite Rajinikanth in the 1981 Tamil action-drama film 'Ranuva Veeran', which was directed by SP Muthuraman. But Chiranjeevi later went off from Tamil films except for a special performance in Rajinikanth's 'Mappillai'.

Gopichand

Gopichand made his debut as a hero with the Telugu film 'Tholi Valapu' in 2001. He then played as a villain in the Telugu 'Jayam' against Nithin and received a massive response for his role. Gopichand then made his Tamil debut by playing a villain in the Tamil remake of the Telugu film 'Jayam', which was also titled the same.

Naveen Chandra

Naveen Chandra had impressed everyone with his lead role in the 2012 Telugu film 'Andala Rakshasi'. The charming and muscular actor then grabbed the attention of Kollywood filmmakers and played few short roles in Tamil films. Later, Naveen Chandra played the antagonist in Dhanush's 'Pattas', and delivered a neat performance.

Jagapathi Babu

Jagapathi Babu is a well-known actor before he made his Tamil debut, and he played lead roles and supporting roles in several films. He made an impact among the Kollywood fans with his negative role in Vikram's crime thriller 'Thaandavam'. Jagapathi Babu then continued to play more villain roles in Tamil, and transformed into a popular actor.
