'Karuppu Pulsar' trailer out: Attakathi Dinesh stuns in dual role; dark rural thriller to release January 30

Building on the momentum of his career-best hit 'Lubber Pandhu', actor Dinesh, fondly known as "Attakathi" or "Gethu" Dinesh is back with a different, dark rural thriller titled Karuppu Pulsar. The trailer, released on January 26, 2026, by actor Jiiva and filmmaker M. Rajesh, shows Dinesh in a haunting dual role that bridges the gap between the urban streets of Chennai and the rustic traditions of Madurai.

The trailer for 'Karuppu Pulsar' features a dark atmosphere with a black Pulsar motorcycle representing speed, rage and criminal underworld. Dinesh can be seen playing the role of a troubled, psychopathic introverted protagonist who faces social injustice and oppression. His character appears both menacing and layered. The trailer shows intense close-ups that portray raw emotions along with a pulsating background score.


The film has been directed by Krishna Murali, 'Karuppu Pulsar' also stars Reshma and Mansoor Ali Khan in pivotal roles. 'Karuppu Pulsar' is slated for a release on January 30, 2026.
