The second season of the popular Tamil web series 'Suzhal: The Vortex', which was released in June 2022, is gearing up for release soon. The web series, directed by Brahma G. and Anucharan Murugaiyan, starring Kathir and Aishwarya Rajesh is all set to premiere on December 2024 or January 2025.
Actor Kathir is reprising his role as the tenacious cop, Sakkarai. Aishwarya Rajesh is joining him again this season, along with a killer cast featuring Lal, Saravanan, and Manjima Mohan. The series also has Monisha Blessy and Samyuktha Vishwanathan in lead roles. Following the massive welcome of the first season of the crime thriller, which was critically acclaimed, the makers all set to release the second season soon for the fans.
In the new season's story, the focus is shifted to the Ashtakaali festival in Kaalipattanam, a village with a dark history. The second season is also created by Pushkar and Gayathir, and it is directed by Brahma G. and Sarjun.
