'Katteri' director criticises doctor's post against 100 per cent occupancy in theatres

Director Deekay's upcoming horror comedy 'Katteri' starring Vaibhav, Aathmika, Sonam Bajwa, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Karunakaran in the lead roles was set to release in Decemeber but got postponed due to the threat of a second wave of COVID-19. Now, the young director of Yaamirukka Bayamey' fame criticised the doctor's post against 100 per cent occupancy in theatres that has gone viral over the internet.
The young director has criticised the doctor and also questioned why the doctor hadn't written something similar and voiced his opinion when bars and clubs got opened in the state.

Deekay posted, "Wonder why the doctor never wrote a letter when all the jam packed air conditioned bars and clubs got opened! guess it’s easy to get ur fifteen mins of fame when u attack cinema." (sic)
