Prominent producer KE Gnanavel Raja has levied accusations of deceit against director Ameer, shedding light on their longstanding conflict dating back to the 'Paruthiveeran' era.
Raja, the producer behind Karthi's debut film 'Paruthiveeran,' helmed by Ameer, labeled the director as an inexperienced producer upon the movie's release. Gnanavel Raja alleges that Ameer engaged in fraudulent practices, extracting funds from the producer under the guise of the film's expenses. According to the producer, Ameer submitted an unethical financial statement during the expense calculation for 'Paruthiveeran,' causing the project's budget to spiral beyond the initially estimated 2.75 crores. Expressing his discontent, Gnanavel Raja questioned Ameer's integrity and asserted that the director could have achieved greater success had he adhered to ethical practices in his work.
Gnanavel Raja expressed his willingness to provide evidence supporting his accusations against Ameer. Furthermore, he issued a challenge to the director, proposing a joint interview to address the matter if Ameer chose to dispute his claims. It is noteworthy that Ameer was the first to disclose the existence of a dispute with Gnanavel Raja, asserting that he harboured no grievances with actor Suriya. Gnanavel Raja clarified Ameer's recent statements, highlighting the director's amicable relationship with Suriya, who is set to share the screen with him in Vetri Maaran's upcoming directorial venture, 'Vaadivaasal.'
The unexpected revelation of Gnanavel Raja's grievances against director Ameer has surprised fans of Kollywood, leaving them eager to hear Ameer's response to the allegations.
