Keerthy Suresh clears the rumours around 'Raghu Thatha' being an anti-Hindi theme film

Actress Keerthy Suresh is awaiting the release of her film 'Raghu Thatha' which is set to release in theatres on August 15. The film's audio launch recently took place in Chennai and speaking at the launch event, the actress said that she was initially unsure about taking up the role in the film as she thought the role did not suit her. She later agreed after she was able to mould into her character and did as required by the film director Suman Kumar.

She also praised debutant Suman Kumar for his vision. The actress also addressed the rumors surrounding the film about it being an anti-Hindi theme and noted that the film is very different as it explores various tyranny and issues related to women. Keerthy Suresh mentioned that the film is a full fledged comedy and said that it does not include any political themes.

Apart from Keerthy Suresh, the cast of the film includes MS Bhaskar, Devadarshini, Ravindra Vijay in lead roles and the music for it is composed by Sean Roldan. The technical crew consists of cinematographer Yamini Yagnamurthy and editor TS Suresh.
