, took to Twitter to thank her co-star Vikram, director Saran and AVM production house, as the movie completed its 18th year, on Sunday. She posted, “Omg. 18 years complete my debut Tamil #Gemini movie Red heart Thank u so much #ChiyaanVikram & #saran sir #AVM production.” Her chemistry with Vikram was one of the highlights of the film, which had music by Baradwaj and cinematography by Venkatesh. One of the biggest hits of 2002, the film boosted Vikram’s career big time, and was later remade into Telugu with Venkatesh and Namitha playing lead roles.



Kiran was later seen in popular films like Villain, Anbe Sivam, Winner, Thirumalai, New, etc. The actress, who was part of Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada projects, was last seen in Muthina Kathirikai, the remake of Malayalam flick, Vellimoonga. There was news of the actress playing an important role in Santhanam-starrer Server Sundaram, directed by Anand Balki. The film was supposed to hit screens earlier this month, but got postponed in the last minute due to some reasons. Santhosh Narayanan is composing music for the project which is expected to release later this year.
