Koozhangal selected for Transilvania International Film Festival

and backed by Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, have been going places. The latest accomplishment that has come by for the film is that it has been selected for Transilvania International Film Festival.

, the banner under which Nayanthara and Vignesh Shiva presented the film, shared the news on social media. It read, "We are happy to announce that #Koozhangal is now an official selection for the

Transilvania International Film Festival

, Romania! (sic)." Vignesh Shivan, too, shared the good news on social media and added that he was hoping and praying to win this award as well. He also requested to have good wishes and encouragement of everyone.



The film has already been screened at a couple of international film festivals. The film got premiered in February this year at the International Film Festival of Rotterdam (IFFR). In fact, the pics of the couple - Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan - along with the rest of the team at the

IFFR

did the rounds on social media back then. And the film won the Tiger Award at the IFFR. Later, the film was screened at the

Kyiv Molodist International Film Festival

and the Shanghai International Film Festival as well. The film's music is Yuvan Shankar Raja.
