Lijo Jose Pellissery narrates a story to Suriya

Suriya is popular for his versatile performances, and the talented actor has a strong line-up in 2023. The latest reports suggests that Malayalam director Lijo Jose Pellissery has narrated a story to Suriya. Apart from Tamil Nadu, Suriya's films also get great reception in Kerala and Telugu states. Even though we have seen the actor teaming up with a few Telugu directors in the past, he hasn't united with a Malayalam director. But the actor has decided it's time to unite with a Malayalam director since he heard a story from Lijo Jose Pellissery.

In an recent interview to a media outlet, Lijo Jose Pellissery revealed that he has narrated a story for Suriya a few months back, and the actor has also shown his interest in the story. But the film has been delayed to take off due to some reasons, and Lijo Jose Pellissery hopes that he will receive a call from Suriya very soon.

Lijo Jose Pellissery has directed almost ten films in Malayalam, and he has been active in the industry since 2010. The 2019 thriller 'Jallikattu' earned global wide fame for Lijo Jose Pellissery and it was also India's official entry to the Oscars.

Suriya is currently filming for his 42nd film, which is being directed by Siruthai Siva, and the mega-budget action drama is heading steadily. Suriya has also announced 'Vaadivaasal' with Vetrimaaran, which has been delayed for a long time to commence the major shooting, and he is also expected to reunite with 'Soorarai Pottru' director Sudha Kongara for a quickie.
