Love Simbu as a brother: Vishal

The South Indian Film Artistes Association headed by Nasser has dismissed rumours of rift between Ajith and Vishal or the Sangam. The Nadigar Sangam has been in the spotlight the last few weeks after the Natchathira (stars) Cricket League organised for raising funds for construction of a building for it, a long standing dream.

Vishal, who is the General Secretary of the Nadigar Sangam, said that Simbu deciding to quit the association was new and that he loved Simbu as an actor and brother. He also mentioned that the Nadigar Sangam is not a club where people can easily leave citing displeasure with service. He went to clarify that he respected actor Simbhu���s opinion but as the General Secretary he also had the right to voice his opinion.

With regard to Ajith not attending the cricket match and rumours surrounding his opinion, Ponvannan said, "It's not like Ajith has not been a part of events organised by the present Nadigar Sangam committe. For the last 7 years he hasn't been doing as a policy of not attending public events and acting in commercials. So there is not rift between Ajith and the Sangam."
