'Lubber Pandu' box office collection: Harish Kalyan and Dinesh's film mints Rs 40 crore

'Lubber Pandhu' featuring Harish Kalyan and Dinesh in the lead roles was released on September 20, and the film has turned into one of the best Tamil films of 2024. The rural cricket drama packed with romance, comedy, and sentiment impressed the audience, and the film peaked well after its release by receiving positive reviews from the audience. According to Cinetrak, 'Lubber Pandhu' has grossed over Rs 40 crore to end its month of theatrical run, and the film is still performing in most of the centers including Chennai. Meanwhile, the OTT release of 'Lubber Pandhu' was delayed due to the film's box office triumph, and the makers hope for the film to earn more than Rs 50 crore.

'Lubber Pandhu', which was supposed to have an OTT release on October 18, however it has been postponed, and the film is now anticipated to have a digital release post-Diwali.

Directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, the story of 'Lubber Pandhu' is centered on street cricket and the struggles related to caste discrimination. Swasika, Sanjana, Kaali Venkat, Bala Saravanan, and Devadarshini played crucial roles alongside Harish Kalyan and Dinesh, and the film has music composed by Sean Roldan.
