'Maari 2': Five reasons to watch Dhanush's film

After the successful outing as Anbu in Vetrimaaran's 'Vada Chennai', Dhanush is back being the naughty don in Balaji Mohan's 'Maari 2'. THe star actor will continue to play the role of Maari, a local don who is all fun and keeps pestering the locals in the area.

While the first part had Kajal Aggarwal fall in love with Maari towards the end, 'Maari 2' has pretty actress Sai Pallavi playing Araathu Anandhi as Dhanush declines Kajal's proposal in the first part. Sai Pallai plays an auto driver who keeps going behind Maari. The love story between the two promises to be fun filled.



Meanwhile, the supporting cast also is power packed with Tovino Thomas playing a menacing villain, Varu Sarathkumar playing a government offical and Krishna playing Dhanush's friend and also happens to be the song on Velu, the powerful local don from the first part.

The trailer of the film has given a glimpse of all the action, puch dialogues and fun entertainment that the audience can expect from the film. With the songs by Yuvan Shankar Raja already topping the charts and becoming a hit, the film slated to hit the screens on 21st December promises to keep up with expectations of the fans.
