Maaveran to Mark Antony: Theatre releases of Tamil films in July

After a successful run of film in theatre in June 2023, the Kollywood film industry has the upcoming month - July packed with an unique set of different genres of films that will be releasing in theatres. Continuing the streak of 'Maamannan' success, 4 big films are awaiting its release in July this year!

Directed by Thiagarajan, the film is the remake of Hindi movie 'Andhadhun'. The film stars Prashant, Karthik, Simran, Priya Anand among others in lead roles. The music for the movie is composed by Santhosh Narayanan and the movie is set to release in theatres on July 25.

Directed by Balaji Kumar, the film features Vijay Antony, Meenakshi Choudary, Ritika Singh and Radhika Sarathkumar in lead roles. The film is an action drama and the movie makers recently announced the film to be released on July 21. The music for the movie is composed by Girishh G.

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Mark Antony is a sci-fi time thriller starring Vishal, SJ Suryah, Sunil, Selvaraghavan, Ritu Varma, Abhinaya in lead roles. Vishal and SJ Suryah are playing in a dual role and the story revolves around two big shot gangsters. The music for the movie is composed by GV Prakash and the film is said to release on July 28.

An action thriller film directed by Madonne Ashwin, 'Maaveran' stars Sivakarthikeyan, Aditi Shankar, Mysskin and Yogi Babu in lead roles. The film's story revolves around a cartoonist who transforms into a fictional character and fights against a politician. The music for the movie is composed by Bharath Sankar and the film is set to release in theatres on July 14.
