is very similar to Ananda Krishnan’s ‘Metro’. A case has been filed against the movie makers of ‘Valimai’ in Madras High Court, seeking damages for copyright violations.

The Madras High Court on Tuesday, March 22, reportedly gave a verdict that it refuses to order a ban on the release of ‘Valimai’ in OTT; also, the court order stated that no preliminary case of copyright infringement had been registered by the petitioner.

‘Valimai’ starring Ajith, Huma Qureshi and Kartikeya Gummakonda was released in theatres pan India on February 24. Now, the film will be released on OTT platform on March 25. The movie makers planned for a weekend release while premiering it on OTT.
