Makers of Mari Selvaraj-Dhruv Vikram’s sports drama to share an update on THIS date

Director Mari Selvaraj has his next movie, a sports drama with Dhruv Vikram. The film was announced last year and the movie shooting is set to begin soon. The film is a biopic on Kabbadi player Manathi Ganesan.


The film also has Anupama Parameswaran playing the female lead. While the official announcement of the film has been made, a new update will be out tomorrow, May 6.


The makers launched the film's poster on social media recently and stated that an update will be made on May 6. Sharing the poster of Dhruv Vikram's torso in his Kabaddi jersey, the director's tweet read, "Announcement on 6th @mariselvaraj @ApplauseSocial #Dhruv Vikram."

Mari Selvaraj last directed the film 'Maamannan' and he is now awaiting the release of his film 'Vaazhai' which is in post-production. The director following his film with Dhruv Vikram will be directing Karthi for his 30th film.


Meanwhile, director Pa Ranjith is awaiting the release of his film 'Thangalaan' which stars Vikram in the lead role. The movie is said to be released in theatres after the Lok Sabha election results are out.
