'Malik' actor makes his Tamil debut with Karthi's 'Japan'

Karthi after giving the successful hit ‘Sardar’ this year, is currently shooting for his 25th film ‘Japan’. Directed by Raju Murugan, the film features Karthi, Anu Emmanuel, Sunil, and Vijay Milton in important roles. ‘Japan’ went on floors on November 8 after a muhurat pujah and reportedly the first scheduled shooting of the film has been wrapped up.

The new update is that Malayalam actor Sanal Aman has joined the cast of ‘Japan’ to play a pivotal role. Sanal previously acted in the Malayalam film ‘Malik’ and now he has taken to Instagram to announce that he will be working along with Tamil actor Karthi. Sharing an image of him with the actor, Sanal wrote, “I am so grateful for this opportunity to make my first step in the Tamil film industry with the man himself @karthi_offl in his much awaiting 25th movie #Japan. Thank you so much for your love and warmth Karthi sir. Thank you so much director #Rajumurugan sir for choosing me for this wonderful role to play. Thank you so much @dreamwarriorpictures @orabhu_sr sir for making this happen. I am overwhelmed by your love @r_varman sir. It’s really dream come true to make my debut Tamil movie in your frame.”

‘Japan’ is said to be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The music for the movie is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
