Online piracy is one issue that seems to derail

. In a shocking incident, a man in Singapore was arrested last night after he live-streamed Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Kaala’ on his Facebook page. According to reports, few scenes of ‘Kaala’ were leaked from the premiere show that happened in Singapore.

Sharing the news on Twitter, producer Dhananjayan said, “Shocking act of piracy. Disgusting.” However, actor and TFPC president Vishal quickly responded to his tweet and said that the man has been arrested. He wrote, “On the job @Dhananjayang sir. He has been arrested. Took it from Cathay Singapore.”

Thanking Vishal’s swift efforts to curb piracy, Soundarya Rajinikanth said, “Thank u so much !!! This needs to end !!!! #KillPiracy #SaveCinema #Kaalafever.”

Directed by Pa Ranjith, ‘Kaala’ will see Rajinikanth playing the role of a gangster, while actor Nana Patekar is reportedly playing the main antagonist. Set in Dharavi, ‘Kaala’ is tipped to be a gangster drama, which will see Rajinikanth fighting for the rights of Tamils in the film.
