Shoot for
Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus,
Ponniyin Selvan
commenced in Thailand from yesterday. With a host of actors like Vikram,
Karthi,
Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Trisha in the cast, the team had earlier been to Thailand for a recce. And now, we hear that Mani and his team have begun the shoot.
A source in the know reveals, “Mani and crew are in Thailand for the shooting. Karthi and Jayam Ravi have already begun shooting for the film. Vikram is likely to join a little later to film his portions. It will be a 40-day schedule in Thailand.”
It’s reported that Karthi plays Vallavaraiyan Vandiyadevan and Ravi essays the role of Arulmozhi Varman in the movie.
