We had reported that actor Manikandan, following the success of Jai Bhim, would play a hero in a film directed by debutant Vinayak Chandrasekaran. The latest update is that the shoot of the film is over, and the makers have unveiled the first-look poster featuring the main casts.
Titled Good Night, the film is based on snoring and the issues pertaining to it. Talking about the project, director Vinayak says, “Good Night is a romantic comedy that also touches upon family values and relationships. The story is based on snoring-related issues and the troubles the lead character is subjected to.”
He adds, “Manikandan will be seen playing the role of an IT professional in the film. Major portions of the film were shot in Chennai, and we are currently working on the post-production.”
Meethi Ragunat of Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee fame will be seen playing the female lead in the film. Director Balaji Sakthivel, Bagavathi Perumal, Ramesh Thilak, and Rachel have also been roped in to play pivotal roles.
