Mansoor Ali Khan's recent statement sparked controversy as he made derogatory comments about actress Trisha while answering a journalist's question. His statement received strong opposition, while several celebrities including Trisha condemned the actor. Accordingly, the National Commission for Women had recommended the Tamil Nadu DGP to take action against Mansoor Alikhan in this matter. To which Mansoor Ali Khan shared his apology for his controversial statement putting an end to the issue. But, surprisingly, Mansoor Ali Khan has stirred up controversy again in an interview given to a Puthiya Thalaimurai.
In the latest interview given by Mansoor Ali Khan, he called his apology the biggest joke. He said to his Public Relations manager over the phone that "Maranithuvidu" (kill me), but it was misunderstood by the latter as "Mannithuvidu" (forgive me). So, he claimed that he didn't apologise to Trisha for his controversial statement against the actress.
