Mari Selvaraj is also in discussion with Karthi to team up with the charming actor for a film, and both are keen on teaming up. Mari Selvaraj also responded to reports about directing Rajinikanth and said that he has been in talks with the Superstar actor after the completion of every film. Rajinikanth, who earlier praised Mari Selvaraj for 'Maamannan', admires the director's work, and the duo desire to team up a year later for their first project together.

Mari Selvaraj is all set to deliver 'Vaazhai' featuring Kalaiarasan, Nikhila Vimal, and Dhivya Duraisamy in the main roles, and the film is all set to hit the big screens on August 23. The film, which was planned to be released directly on OTT, is now inching towards a theatrical release, and the film has music scored by Santhosh Narayanan.
