Sripada started the movement when she accused lyricist Vairamuthu of sexual harassment. Now, A.R. Rahman’s sister Reihana has opened up about these allegations.

Reihana revealed that when Rahman got to know about it, he was quite unaware about things and she had to fill him in on the incidents people faced in the industry. She even said that in many allegations against the lyricist, he used to use Rahman’s name to trap female playback singers. Reihana also said that the ace music composer was unaware about it all until recently as he generally stayed away from gossip.

Finally, she concluded her statement by saying that fully supports Chinmayi and the Me Too movement that is currently taking the whole country by storm.
