Actress Meena's husband Vidyasagar who was suffering from a lung infection, and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai breathed his last yesterday at 7 pm.
Despite getting treated, the deceased didn't respond well and continued to remain in a critical condition. Vidyasagar was 48 years old and had earlier been infected with corona and recovered from the disease. Later, at the end of March 2022, it was reported that he had contracted a lung infection, therefore he was admitted to the hospital, and gradually his condition deteriorated. Finally, Vidyasagar succumbed to his injuries last evening. His mortal remains will be cremated at Besant Nagar, Chennai, Cemetery today at 2 p.m.
Actress Meena is famous for her roles in Tamil and Malayalam movies, and she was last seen on big screens in Rajinikanth starrer 'Annaatthe'. Meena got married to Vidyasagar in June 2009, and the couple has a daughter Nainika, who played Vijay's daughter in the 2016 cop drama 'Theri'.
