On Monday night, two drunken men attacked the gate of musician-actor and filmmaker
Hiphop Adhi
's residence on ECR. The two men reportedly pelted stones at the gate, causing damage to the same, before fleeing.
A source close to Adhi tells us, “There were these two drunken people creating a nuisance, such as screaming on the street. The security guard of the house opposite Adhi's home told them to stop being a public nuisance in a residential area. Things started heating up as the men got into an argument with the security guard; they pelted stones on the gate, damaging it in the process, before escaping from the place.”
The source adds that the men were arrested by the police on Tuesday. "Once the CCTV footage was analysed, the two men were recognised and a complaint was filed against them. However, they did not know it was Hiphop Aadhi’s house, and it was not intentional," the source says.
The house was also empty at the time since Adhi was out of town. "The security nearby filed a complaint. Adhi was not aware of the incident when it happened. He got to know about it only after people started calling him about it,” the source adds.
