Minister Thangam of Petta, actor Thennavan, critical

Actor Thennavan who debuted with Bharathiraja’s movie En Uyir Thozhan as one of the leads, has of late been playing supporting roles. After acting in director Saran's Gemini as Kai he has been well known among the audience and in the industry. He was seen in movies like Jay Jay, Kamal Haasan's Virumandi, Jigarthanda, Sundara Pandian, and Sandakozhi in supporting roles.
His latest film outing was in the role of a Minister, Minister Thangam in Petta. Thennavan was recently seen in a TV serial Rasathi and the actor was planning to make his directorial debut, too. However, the actor suffered a setback in his health and it is said that he has been admitted in a private hospital with paralysis of the brain. It’s reported in spite of intensive treatment, his condition is critical.
