Murali Karthick
made his debut as a director with the film ‘Kalavu’ in 2019. Now, he is directing the film ‘
Mohandas’ with
Vishnu Vishal as the lead. The teaser of the film was released last week and it has garnered more than one million views.
The movie is an action suspense thriller. In an interview with the national media, director Murali Karthick reportedly stated that the movie focuses on the essence of a single incident that changes human emotion.
The teaser of the movie started with the line - “The future depends on what you do today,” which is stated by Mahatma Gandhi and the teaser ends with the line “may be a true story.” Speaking about this, Murali reportedly said that the film is based on his imagination but the incidents included might have occurred to many and that’s the sole reason to state that the film might be a true story.
The cast of the film includes Vishnu Vishal,
Aishwarya Rajesh, Indrajith Sukumaran,
Karunakaran and Prakash Raghvan among others. According to reports, the cast of the film has different roles with unique characterisation.
The director reportedly revealed in the interview that ‘Mohandas’ script was written in 2017 and he later approached Vishnu Vishal with the help of actor Karunakaran.
The movie makers have not yet decided about the release date of the film in theatres.
