My negative role got positive reviews: Rejath Menen
Rejath Menen is back in town with a handful of films in his kitty. Post the success of Joshiy's Sevenesand K Biju's Dr Lovewhere he had plum roles to play, the actor is all set to play the hero in director Rajasenan's upcoming flick, Innaana Kalyanam.
"I play the protagonist - Karthik, whose love story forms the crux of the film. This is the first time I'm working with Rajasenan and I'm looking forward to the hit filmmaker delivering yet another good film," Rejath says.

Rejath is excited to be back in the limelight. "The audience have always had high expectations about director Joshiy's film and I'm glad I got to be a part of Sevenesthat was packed with entertainment besides conveying a socially relevant message that holds good in the present times. Dr Loveoffered me the villain's role something I tried my hand at the first time in my career. And I'm glad that my negative character fetched me such positive response."
He has signed on three more films two in Malayalam and one in Tamil. "I never insist on playing only the hero or villain. As long as the roles that come by offer me the scope to perform well, I'll be taking them up." The Tamil project will mark his debut in Kollywood. "But it will be too early to talk about it unless its makers declare it officially."
A mechanical engineer, Rejath is now studying for his masters in business administration. "Movies are my priority. But as long as I can take academics hand-in-hand with films, I'll be pursuing my higher education," he winds up.
