Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan's simple Pongal celebration with Ulag and Uyir wins over the internet

Nayanthara recently treated her Instagram followers to delightful glimpses of her Pongal celebrations with her family. In the photos, she radiates happiness as she poses with her husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, and their twin sons, Ulag and Uyir.

The family embraced the spirit of the festival in coordinated traditional white outfits, with the adorable twins effortlessly becoming the centre of attention. While sharing a series of pictures, Nayanthara wrote, “Keep smiling at home... A happiness that transcends differences fills our hearts... Stay joyfully surrounded by loved ones... Let the Thai Pongal festivities flow. Let us express our heartfelt gratitude to the Tamil farmers who make our lives possible. Wishing you all a Happy Pongal.”



Nayanthara looked radiant in an off-white kurta set, while Vignesh opted for a shirt and dhoti in the same colour. Ulag and Uyir looked adorable in their little white shirts and matching dhotis. The pictures from their balcony, featuring festive foods and sweets, quickly went viral online.

Nayanthara offered fans an intimate glimpse into her life and career through the documentary 'Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale' last year. Directed by Amith Krishnan, the film delves into her early struggles, eventual triumphs, and personal milestones, including her marriage to Vignesh Shivan.

On the work front, Nayanthara will next be seen in 'Test' and 'Mannangatti Since 1960'. She is currently busy filming 'Rakkayie' and the Malayalam movie 'Dear Students' alongside Nivin Pauly. 'Dear Students' will mark Nayanthara's second collaboration with Nivin Pauly as they were earlier seen together in 'Love Action Drama'.
