Earlier this year, Nayanthara signed a project with director Arivazhagan of ‘Kuttram 24’ and 'Eeram' fame. While the yet-untitled film was supposed to be produced by SP Cinemas, the production house backed out due to creative differences. On the other hand, reports were rife that the project was shelved. However, on the contrary to rumours, the film is very much on the cards and Nayanthara is expected to shoot once the producer is finalised.
Recently, the ‘Lady Superstar’ started shooting for her forthcoming film with director Sarjun KM, which is being bankrolled by KJR Studios. The ‘Billa’ star will begin work on ‘Thala’ Ajith Kumar-starrer ‘Viswasam’, which is currently underway. Nayanthara also has another biggie -- ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ starring megastar
Chiranjeevi in the lead.
On the work front, Nayanthara has films like
‘Imaikka Nodigal’
and ‘Aramm 2’in her kitty. Later this year, Nayanthara will be teaming up with
Sivakarthikeyan for the second time in the upcoming yet-untitled film, which will be directed by M Rajesh. She also awaits the release of ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’, directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar.
