Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Though the makers neither confirmed it nor denied it, now the latest is that a source close to the development has said that the movie is neither Pudhupettai 2 nor Ayirathil Oruvan 2 but a totally different project with Dhanush in the lead and Yuvan handling music. It is said that the movie will be an action thriller and is a brand new script. A swanky jeep would also play a crucial part in the movie. The information is that there would be two heroines in the project and the makers are on talks with some of them who have a pan Indian appeal.
Brothers Dhanush and Selvaraghavan are teaming up for two movies- one is the sequel of their Pudupettai 2 and another is Ayirathil Oruvan 2. While Dhanush was not part of Ayirathil Oruvan, he is acting in its sequel. AO2 is a major project that required extensive pre-production work and the director is planning it as a 2024 release.
