Rajinikanth reacts to 'Coolie' audio issue

Rajinikanth has signed up for his next film 'Coolie' with Lokesh Kanagaraj. The makers launched the title promo of the film a couple of days back, and it had the song 'Va Va Pakkam Va' in the background. Music composer Ilaiyaraaja has now filed copyrights claim against the makers asking them to seek proper permission befire using the song. Reacting to this, Rajinikanth speaking to the media in Chennai airport said that it is an issue between the music composer and film poducers alone.

Pankaj Tripthi and Ali Fazal joins the cast of 'Thug Life'

Mani Ratnam is currently directing the periodic action drama 'Thug Life' that stars Kamal Haasan in the lead role. The movie has an ensemble cast of Trisha, Simbu, Arvind Swamy, Nasser, Abhirami, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik among others. Now Bollywood actor, Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal have also joined the cast of the film to play in pivotal roles.

Shalini gifts Ajith a Ducati bike on his birthday

Actor Ajith celebrated his birthday on May 1. The actor is an ardent racer and supporting his dreams of travelling the world in bike, actress Shalini gifted a Ducati bike to Ajith on his birthday. Even after 24 years, the couple has been setting couple goals.

Amitabh Bachchan wraps shooting for 'Vettaiyan'

Actor Amitabh Bachchan has wrapped up the shooting for his parts for the film 'Vettaiyan'. Taking to his blog, the Bollywood Badshah explained that it was great joy for him to work alongside Rajinikanth. He added that he was also scared to finish his shooting for the TJ Gnanavel directorial as he was worried about not getting another chance to work with the superstar actor.

Nelson Dilipkumar produces Kavin's next

Director Nelson Dilipkumar has started his own prodution house named Filament Pictures. The director will be producing his first project 'Bloody Beggar' which stars Kavin in the lead role. The movie will be directed by debutant Sivabalan, who is an associate of Nelson Dilipkumar. 'Bloody Beggar' also stars Redin Kingsley.
