Actor Surya is all geared up for the release of his next,
Selvaraghavan’s ‘NGK – Nandha Gopala Kumaran’. We had earlier reported that that the film has been censored and the distribution rights for the film's Telugu version has been acquired by KK Radha Mohan under the banner Sathya Sai Arts.
Following the release of the film on May 31, the team had organised a grand promotional event. The event took place in Hyderabad at the JRC Convention centre on May 28. The event was graced by the entire team of 'NGK'.
SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu will be producing the film under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures. Also, the film has got a unique distinction as it will be the first Tamil movie to have a release in South Korea.
The film has music by
Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is working with Suriya after some time now. The songs of the film are already out and are topping the chartbuster list. Touted to be an action political thriller, the film stars
Rakul Preet Singh and
Sai Pallavi as the female lead along with Jagapathi Babu, Ilavarasu,
Bala Singh, Ponvannan,
Thalaivasal Vijay,
Vela Ramamoorthy and Ramkumar Ganesan will be seen in supporting roles.
Meanwhile, Surya also has an interesting line up of films like 'Kaapaan' with KV Anand, 'Yaanai' with Hari, a biopic with
Sudha Kongara and he is also in talks with young talent.
