’, whose name was in the Oscar race has also won two awards in Norway Tamil Film Festival .

Films ‘Joker’ and ‘Visaranai’ won major accolades at the festival. ‘Joker’ got the Best Film Award and Vetrimaaran bagged the Best Director Award for Visaranai’. Vijay Sethupathi took away the Best Actor Male for ‘Dharmadurai’ whereas Varalaxmi Sarathkumar clinched the Best Actor Female for ‘Thaarai Thappattai’.
