, who was last seen in a prominent role in KV Anand’s
Kavan
, along with Vijay Sethupathi, has announced his next directorial project. Titled
Indraya Kadhal Daa
, the film will see the actor-director calling shots after more than a decade. At a press meet in the city, TR informed that the movie, which is tipped as a musical love story, will have Namitha playing the character of a don.
He said, “This is the first project to which she has given the nod post her marriage. She will essay the role of a don. The film, which will have a bevy of new faces, will also feature
Radha Ravi,
Robo Shankar, Jagan and VTV Ganesh, among others. The trilingual project (to be made in
Tamil,
Telugu and
Hindi) is targeted at youngsters — it will have a story and screenplay which will cater to today’s audience.” Indraya Kadhal Daa will have TR writing story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics for it. When quizzed whether Simbu will sing in the film, TR said, “It all depends on the requirements and his interest in collaborating with me for the project.”
