Pa Ranjith to produce his assistant Dhinakaran Sivalingam's debut film

has been producing the first films of many new filmmakers through his home production banner, Neelam Productions. After Pariyerum Perumal, he gave us Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu, directed by his assistant Athiyan Athirai. He has also bankrolled the experimental film Kuthiraivaal, directed by Manoj Leonel Jahson and Shyam Sunder. Currently, he is producing the Samuthirakani-starrer Writer, directed by newcomer Franklin Jacob, and an untitled movie that is being directed by his assistant Suresh Mari and features Kalaiyarasan and Suresh Mari.

Dhinakaran Sivalingam

, an associate director of Pa Ranjith, had earlier worked in the director's films Kabali and Kaala, which starred Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead, is going to make his directorial debut in a film that will cover Tamil Nadu's current situation in a way of humourous and emotional manner.

Ranjith will be producing the movie along with TN Arun Balaji, the son of actor 'Poster' Nandhakumar, who had earlier debuted in Ranjith's movie Madras.

The film is yet to go on floors, but we hear that the team has roped in well-known senior actors in Kollywood to play important roles in it. The main leads and the technical team details announcement will be revealed soon, says a source.
