With the re-release of ‘Padayappa’ getting a blockbuster response in the theatres, Superstar Rajinikanth decided to throw a party to celebrate the film’s success with the cast. Even after 25 years, the majestic film continues to mesmerize the movie buffs, reflecting the brilliance of the old Tamil films. Inviting the film unit’s members to his home to celebrate and hang out, the act has been appreciated by the fans of Rajinikanth.

In fact, Ramya Krishna in the role of Neelambari is considered as one of the most remembered female antagonists in Indian Cinema.
To celebrate its 25th anniversary of initial release, 'Padayappa' was re-released on December 12 as a gift for Rajinikanth on his 75th birthday. From the beginning, the film has been a celebration in the halls as the fans have been filling the hall. Even now, after 25 days of re-release, the film keeps on watching across several cities, demonstrating the time-tested popularity and affection they have for the film.
To celebrate the success that has been going strong, Rajinikanth called over film director K.S. Ravikumar, actress Ramya Krishnan, and producer Thenappan to his house and shared the good news with them. The photos of the team posing like 'Padayappa' have gone all over the internet. On the side, Rajinikanth's next movie 'Jailer 2', directed by Nelson, is set to release in theaters this June. On top of that, the superstar is also set to star in a new movie by Cibi Chakravarthy and produced by Kamal Haasan, garnering much attention.
