Amidst several speculation, it is benign said that the
Nadigar Sangam election
would happen on June 23. The ‘
Pandavar Ani
’ team which won the election last year has come up with their list of EC members while the opposition is yet to announce its team members.
Nasser will contest for the president post while Poochi Murugan and Karunaas will contest for vice president posts.
Vishal and
Karthi will battle it out for the positions of general secretary and treasurer respectively.
The EC members of the team include Sriman, Pasupathy, Ramana, Nanda, Thalapathy Dinesh, Sonia Bose, Kutty Padmini, Sarala, Prem, Rajesh, Manobala, Gerald, Kalimuthu, Ratnappa, MA Prakash, Ajay Ratnam, Prasanna, Kushbu, Hema, Jr Balayya, MGR Latha, Nithin Sathyaa, ‘Paruthiveeran’ Saravanan, Aadi, Vasudevan and Gandhi Karaikudi.
Interestingly, it is being said that all shooting will be cancelled on the day of the election. Producer Ishari Ganesh is said to be contesting against Vishal. Meanwhile, it is heard that Karthi has donated a sum of one crore to Nadigar Sangam to speed up the works regarding completion of its new building.
