Sivakarthikeyan and Sudha Kongara’s film ‘Parasakthi’ has now reached a slow phase at the box office. After a good opening and a solid first week, the film has started losing steam. The latest report suggests that the film's day 24 collection fell and made just over Rs 2 lakh.
The worldwide total of ‘Parasakthi’ now stands at Rs 84.8 crore, according to trade analyst Sacnilk. Meanwhile, the Indian net collection is Rs 52.36 crore, and the Indian gross figure is Rs 61.95 crore. Further, the overseas collection is Rs 22.85 crore. These numbers clearly show that the film opened well. The first few days were strong. After that, the pace slowly came down. The film could not keep the same energy in the later weeks.
About ‘Parasakthi’
Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film revolves around siblings Chezhiyan and Chinnadurai. Chezhiyan is played by Sivakarthikeyan. Chinnadurai is played by Atharvaa. ‘Parasakthi’: Social media reaction
The film received both mixed and positive reviews on social media. An X (formerly Twitter), a user wrote, “#Sivakarthikeyan acting performance very well. Sreeleela acting peaks. No boring scenes in the movie ticket worth watching film.” Another added, “Despite an authentic period setup Parasakthi turns out to be a slow & tiring watch. A dull love track & sluggish narration dominate the first half. The second half drags even more with weak emotions & convenient writing. Good artwork & #SivaKartikeyan decent performance can’t save this boring film.” One added, “SK Leads d show. Ravi scores. Atharvaa & Sreeleela Gud Perf. GVP’s BGM Super. Abrupt Edits lead to Emotional disconnect. Interval Block & Climax gud. Powerful Content; Very Convenient writing & Mediocre execution by Sudha Kongara. AVERAGE!”
Cast of ‘Parasakthi’
The cast of the movie includes Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa and Sreeleela, marking her Tamil debut.
