has thanked Puducherry Chief Minister for selecting the film for the Best Film award. Parthiban took to Twitter to thank the CM and wrote an obliged note to the Chief Minister of Pondicherry for presenting the best film award.


Puducherry annual film festival is held on behalf of the Government of Puducherry, the film festival has been held in Pondicherry for 37 years, and the festival takes place on December 15 every year. Puducherry Chief Minister Narayanasamy will present the award named after Sankardas Swamy to director and actor Parthiban at a function to be held. According to the government, a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh will be given along with a certificate of appreciation for the award.Parthipan played the only character in his own directorial 'Oththa Seruppu Size 7' and carried the film single-handedly with his screenplay. Santosh Narayanan has scored music for a song, while the background score was composed by C Sathya, and the cinematography was handled by Ramji.
