Veteran cinematographer,
PC Sreeram
has been elected as the President of
South Indian Cinematographers Association
(
SICA
) again. Meanwhile, A Karthik Raja, and S Saravanan have been elected as his deputies and the interesting part is, all the three above mentioned people won the elections unopposed.
The elections of the organisation takes place once in two years. The election for the The South Indian Cinematographers Association was conducted on Sunday, February 10, 2019 for the term 2019-2021. The voting started at 8 am and was completed by 5 pm. The counting of the votes started immediately and was completed by midnight.
The general secretary is B. Kannan, and his deputies include M. Ilavarasu, A Arokkiyadas, U.K. Senthil Kumar, B. Balamurugan. In addition to this, a 15 member working committee has also been selected.
