Talking to us about the song, director Perarasu says, ���Sabari is a big fan of Kamal Haasan. He asked me to pen lyrics for his tribute song which he will be releasing on Kamal Haasan���s birthday. Nishanlee has worked with Harris Jayaraj in many films, and his songs are impressive. Our tribute song, starts with the lyrics, unakkul oruvan, enakkul oruvan, kalaiyin thalaivan yaar. It has come out really well.���

Perarasu is best known for mass dialogues he had penned for his hit films, like Thirupaachi and Sivakasi.
