2018 is turning out to be an important year for Samantha Akkineni, who’s basking in the success of back-to-back blockbusters like ‘Rangasthalam’, ‘Mahanati’ and ‘

’. As per the latest buzz, Samantha has started dubbing for her forthcoming action-thriller ‘Super Deluxe’, which is being directed by Thyagaraja Kumarraja of ‘
Aaranya Kaandam
’ fame.
An excited Samantha wrote on Twitter, “The calm before the storm !! Prepping for the second half of the year, after an amazing first half.”
The film, which went on the floors last year, is currently in its post-production stage and is expected to release sometime later this year. Produced by Tyler Durden And Kino Fist, the film has
Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Mysskin, Gayathrie and
Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles.
Jointly written by Thyagaraja Kumarraja, Mysskin, Nalan Kumarasamy and Neelan K Sekar, ‘Super Deluxe’ has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Samantha Akkineni awaits the release of ‘Seema Raja’, in which she’s paired opposite
Sivakarthikeyan. Tipped to be a rural entertainer, the film is directed by Ponram and is likely to release in August. The ‘Eega’ actress will also be seen in the Tamil remake of the Kannada blockbuster ‘U Turn’ directed by Pawan Kumar.
