It is known that actor Ashwin Kakumanu is playing the lead role in debut director Mohan Govind’s 'Pizza 3 The Mummy' produced by CV Kumar. Pavithrah Marimuthu of Arulnithi-starrer Diary fame, will be seen essaying the female lead. While the teaser of the film was released earlier in October last year, the makers have now revealed that the film will hit the screens in November, 2022.
The thriller, which was supposed to be released around March, 2021 itself, got postponed due to COVID-related restrictions, is not gearing up for release. The film also has Kaali Venkat, director Gaurav Narayanan and Raveena Daha, among others, in pivotal roles. Director Gaurav Narayanan plays the role of a cop named Inspector Prem Kumar.
The teaser offered a sneak peek into the third movie of the hit 'Pizza' series. Shot in and around Chennai, CV Kumar had also said that it will offer edge-of-the-seat moments and will be devoid of cliches one often finds in horror films.
